smoke photography can be an easy job but you have to know the right way to do it 
actually i Annoyed from people that say you need a professional camera like canon and nikon to take a nice shots i say that you will need a just good camera and some other simple arrangements for example a good light source and nice background 
and you can make your own macro lenses and telephoto lenses like i did and take a photo for
what ever you want
my camera is just a compact digital camera fujifilm jx400 
and i have made macro lenses and telephoto lenses i will show you how to make it in another post 

ok what you will need to take your nice smoke photo:

1- your camera sure
2- smoke source iam using Incense
3- black background
4- light source
